Given a venue in the window of a busy garage showroom…no light inside, no hanging facilities, sliding window in constant use, sale cars parked in front…what to do…giant spider window vinyl with reflective paint to catch the sun, visible from the street and friendly face so as not to frighten passing toddlers from nearby day nursery…

"Homage to Henri". The big Tate Modern exhibition of the late works of one of my heroes has inspired me to attempt a window vinyl based on Matisse's La Gerbe paper cut out. Temporary window installation at venue 17, Grace's Attic (http://facebook.com/GracesAttic) . Plus cut outs workshop for 3 year olds at Rochford Day Nursery. October 27 - November 3 Rochford Art Trail
Following on from Hadleigh, I have installed "Velo 2" a second version of the multi-image and DVD interpretation of the Olympic MTB events. In addition, having revived the format, I have rehung my original multi-image piece from 2008.
"Video creates an illusion of movement using 25 frames per second. It's fascinating to play with this concept. Here are two examples; one, from 2008, is 9 continuous seconds of frantic rush hour in the City (9 columns of 25 frames), the other fleeting moments of effort and speed from the Hadleigh Farm Olympic Mountain Biking at London 2012."

Multi-image and video installation for the Hadleigh Art Trail 2012 reflecting the Hadleigh Farm Olympic Mountain Biking Events and the fact that my venue happens to be a bike shop! (Velo Virtuoso).
August 15 August - 30 September Rayleigh Windmill
Sight and Sound installation recreating a flavour of the old working windmill as it might have been 200 years ago. This time with extra sounds filling the total space.
